Christmas Parcels Christmas Parcels

A week before the end of term, a group of sixth form students, braved the rain to help deliver our beautifully decorated Christmas parcels to the residents of Jubilee Court and Orchard Court. Even though the sixth formers played Father Christmas for the morning handing out the parcels from our very full sleigh (or minibus), we all know that Christmas would not be possible without the hard work of the elves. Every tutor group in the school has been hard at work over the last few weeks making these parcels. A range of food items were gathered and placed in boxes which were given a Christmas make-over, some of which were outstanding.

The Christmas parcels are given to people in assisted living to spread the Christmas spirit, and helps students to think about those who might not be as fortunate as them at this time of year. As ever, the boxes were received with much thanks and we have already received a number of cards saying how grateful residents have been for our hard work and generosity. As this was my first year being involved in the organisation and delivery of the Christmas parcels, I have to say a One of our photos using the 4k cameras massive thank you for all the work that was put into the making of the boxes by our elves in the tutors groups, and not forgetting our Father Christmas sixth formers. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
