Ranelagh welcome Daisy’s Dream for Year 9 Enterprise Challenge

As part of the school’s recognition of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Ranelagh held an Enterprise Day for Year 9 students in tandem with local charity, Daisy’s Dream, who support children facing bereavement or serious illness.
Claire Rhodes from Daisy’s Dream spoke to the students about the fundraising work the charity does and it’s cost before challenging the students to devise fundraising strategies aimed at 11-16 year olds: something to be worn, something to be seen and something to be done.
Working in teams of six, the students researched and costed their ventures, producing prototype products which they pitched to their peers and panel of judges at the end of the day.
